Unusual antique polychrome plaster statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Hand painted in a very different style from the statues I usually find. I have a St Joseph in a similar style in store.
It has suffered some damages as can be seen in the photographs:  large chips, stains, paint flaking and incrusted dust.
The paint hasn't been applied perfectly so the colours are not even.
A beautiful and unusal piece despite the imperfections!
