French antique Sacred Heart of Jesus statue on marble base. 
Copper painted metal to imitate a bronze patina. Scratches at the back of the base show that the metal is originally silver coloured.
Jesus is portrayed standing with one hand drawing the eye to the Sacred Heart on his chest.
'Sacré-Coeur' (Sacred Heart in French)written at the front of the base. Marked 'GR.' and 'France' at the back.
There are odd lines seen on the side of the face or near the Heart which seem to have been left by a mould.
Marks, tarnish, scratches and imperfections as can be seen in the photographs. Traces of dust left in small gaps hard to reach. The colour has faded or is gone in places so it is uneven. It gives a beautiful patina!
The marble base has some small stains and chips.
