French antique Holy water flask from a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France. Early 1900s.
This tin canister would have been used to collect holy water from the spring at the grotto. 
It's beautifully decorated with lithographed pictures of the Lourdes basilica, the grotto and the appartion of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirou. 
Screw top with ND initials (for Notre Dame / Our Lady) and cloth shoulder strap. 
Has some clear signs of use and age which give it a beautiful patina: stains, scratches, rust and heavy wear to the lithographs.
Marked 'Etablissements V. Labarrère - Bordeaux'.
Seems to still be water tight but I can't garantee how long it will be considering its age.
Size without handle and screw top: 18.6 x 17.3 x 11.8 cm or 7.32 x 6.69 x 4.33 inches
