Beautiful French antique black ladies wool jacket or bodice.
The front has a very deep V with a scalloped collar and a black pleated part with a high collar.
Closure with metal loops and hooks all the way down the front. 
Small imperfections and wear on the wool. I could only find some very small holes at a seam near a cuff and one on a shoulder. I might have missed one or two.
Wear at the armpits.
The scalloped part is stiffened with linen.
The pleated bib and collar have marks and one side is slighly worn and damaged.
Grey cotton lining with ribs and a belt.
The ribs around the waist are all present but some are slightly distorted. 
Rust stains inside and important discolouration at the armpits (yellow and blue stains).
