French antique black bodice with slightly puffed shoulders and lovely ruffles across the chest.
High neck with cream lace collar and black lace jabot. 
Black cotton material with silky detailing. 
Beautiful stripy  cotton lining. 
Closes with loops and hooks down the front. 
Handmade so there are some irregularities and imperfections. Here are the main ones I have spotted:
- Discoloured and stained collar. 
- Two tears one one side visible in a photograph.
- The ribs around the waist are all present but some are slightly distorted. - 
- Wear and discolouration at the armpits inside and slight wear outside.
- Stitches visible and loose threads inside.
- Small stains on the lining.
Measurements taken laid flat:
Shoulder to shoulder: 40 cm / 15.74"
Width armpit to armpit: 45.5 cm / 17.91"
Length down the back: 50 cm / 19.68"
Armpit to cuff: 40.5 cm / 15.74"
