French antique wax portrait of the Virgin Mary.

The expression of Our Lady is very peaceful.

In a round gold painted frame. Small chips on the edges of the frame.
Paper and card at the back nailed to the frame.
Small metal loop and thread to hang.

The wax seems to have been painted brown at some point. 
The colour is gone in places as can be seen in the photographs.
